Background of the Study

Information technology (IT) plays a pivotal role in modern business operations, necessitating continuous employee training to stay updated with technological advancements. Effective IT training programs enhance employee skills, productivity, and adaptability, fostering organizational growth (Adewale & Okeke, 2024).

In Plateau State, corporate firms are increasingly investing in IT training programs to address skill gaps and improve performance. However, discrepancies in program quality, employee engagement, and post-training application remain significant concerns. Understanding the relationship between IT training and employee performance is crucial for optimizing these programs.
